Breath Training for Everyday Life
The Optimal Breathing Program consists of Two Modules and is designed to go at your own pace. There is a systematic progression through all of the levels.
Each lesson is video-based with a balanced blend of theory and technique, with practice and review sessions interspersed throughout. The lessons average between 10 to 20 mins.

Level Two
The Shape of Optimal Breathing
Take a deep-dive into the structure, or 'shape', of your breathing as it's uniquely expressed with each breath. Form & Function are intimately connected within the shape of our breathing, and by understanding our form we can more effectively optimize our function.

“Hi there, I really enjoyed your program. I'm a student and teacher of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation and breathwork, and got a lot of great insights from you. I really appreciate how you manage to merge the scientific, poetic and practical into easy to understand exercises.”

Level Five
Core-Conditioning
Offers a diverse set of practices and concepts for understanding and developing our core, both in strength and function. This will teach you how to intelligently and safely train your core, as well as how to use it skillfully in any situation.
Also included are gentle breath-hold techniques, as well as vigorous and energizing breathing patterns, both of which engage our core in unique and powerful ways.
Level Six
Taiji 'Spinal' Breathing
The culminating breathing practice for the Breath-Spine-Core system is Taiji 'Spinal' Breathing: a unique and powerful tool for engaging our core, midline & spine; distilled from the Taiji Qigong traditions.
Also included is the Spinal Wave technique: a gentle oscillating motion of the spine that is integral to the whole-body motions of Taijiquan. The Spinal Wave combined with Taiji 'Spinal' Breathing is a synthesis of breath-spine-core like nothing else.

Spine
Central to body-mind health is a stable and flexible spine. Understanding the mechanics and dynamics of our midline allows us to use our whole body with greater ease and power.

Within the Taijiquan traditions are the ancient Qigong practices of Daoyin. These gentle and easy to learn exercises combine focussed breathing with fluid motions to heal, strengthen, and unify the body-mind.

Learn authentic techniques adapted for a modern lifestyle, and for a lifetime of practice that continually deepens and nourishes, allowing you to "age like a sage".
Core
Our core is both the center of our body, as well as the stabilizing connection amongst our “ten thousand” parts.

Learn how to use proper breathing mechanics to shape and develop your core, as well as strengthen your pelvic floor.
Learn simple core-engagement strategies for protecting your spine and joints from repeated wear and tear, as well as developing whole-body strength available for all of your physical needs.

Central to the breathing practices and Qigong exercises taught is an embodied understanding of how to develop and use core-engagement strategies for when you need them.
